Accountancy Programme

Course Objectives

The primary aim of the Accountancy Department is to provide a sound training leading to a National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) or Degree (BSc) or Masters in Accounting.

The course gives students the necessary background to:

• Understand the concepts and measurements that underlie financial statements,
• Develop the skills needed to analyze financial statements effectively, and
• Gain an understanding of the choices enterprises make in reporting the results of their business activities.

Admission Requirements

Any applicant who meets the minimum entry requirements for admission into the Polytechnic or University may be granted admission, the requirements are:

• O’level Result
• Birth Certificate
• Passport Photograph

• Higher National Diploma (HND):        ₦35,000
• Degree (BSc):                                    ₦69,000
• HND to Degree (BSc) Conversion:    ₦247,000
• Masters (MSc):                                   ₦400,000
